The Model train that runs in our dining area is a 1/22 scale (G-scale) narrow gauge steam locomotive that was manufactured by the L.B.G. Train Co. and Kalamazoo Toy Train Co. The long line of boxcars were made here in Delton by the Delton Locomotive Works, Inc. Many area businesses and services are advertised on these cars.
We hope to keep a part of the past alive by having our locomotive and caboose represent the former CK&S Railroad. The Chicago, Kalamazoo & Saginaw railroad that ran through Delton on a daily basis for many years from 1887 until the late 1930's when the train service was discontinued.
